March 18, 2008 - A Toast to Tilbury - By-Product Synergy Workshop
What if you could turn a waste into a product that had market value? By-Product Synergy (BPS) is a multi-industry facilitation process aimed at turning one organization’s waste, or by-product, into a valuable resource for another organization. With such diverse products and services offered by Tilbury businesses there are bound to be numerous potentially synergistic relationships between a variety of different industrial sectors. This exciting concept will be explored in greater depth at an upcoming TEIP workshop in Feb. Companies interested in participating and learning more about the benefits of BPS should contact teip@earthwisesociety.bc.ca for more information. In addition, we would like to encourage all Tilbury businesses look into the BC Industrial Materials Exchange network at www.bcimex.ca. This is a free web-based database service for residents and businesses to submit and browse listings of unwanted waste materials and post notices of materials needed. One company's trash is another's treasure!

On Thursday January 26, 2006 come out and support Autogas Propane and the opening of the 1st multiblend biodiesel dispenser in Canada! Biodiesel is an easy way to save money and the environment.
