The Boundary Bay Earthwise Garden is the third garden the Society has created to demonstrate ecological landscape design.
Tsawwassen Rotarians lend their skills to develop the "Five Sense’s Garden" at the New Boundary Bay Earthwise Garden Despite pouring rain, fifteen enthusiastic members of the Tsawwassen Rotary Club came out to help with the development of the Boundary Bay Earthwise Garden. Inclement weather could not stop these folks as they got down to work repairing sheds and building raised garden beds and trellis’s for the "Five Senses Patio Garden". Part of the phase-one development, the Five Senses Garden is a unique feature of the new Boundary Bay Earthwise Garden, a one-of-a –kind resource in the South Delta community. "This area of our garden will accommodate the needs of physically challenged individuals to enjoy the garden" says Amanda Gee, Education Coordinator at Earthwise. "The Rotary Club’s help today is a great example of groups and individuals pulling together for the benefit of the whole community". The Rotary Club’s help was extremely valuable as they offered carpentry skills and lots of hands to make short work of the building and repair projects.
