The Boundary Bay Earthwise Garden:

A demonstration GARDEN of ecological landscape design

 The Earthwise Garden provides opportunities for the community to become stewards of the environment and to learn how to garden with the earth in mind. 

The Boundary Bay Earthwise Garden is the Lower Mainland's only comprehensive demonstration garden of ecological landscape practices.  The design of the one acre garden is based on ecological themes including a Native Plant Garden,  a Habitat Hedgerow,  a Dry Garden, and a Butterfly Garden.   Reused or recycled materials are featured in its construction.  Visitors are welcome to stroll along the pathways and gain inspiration for their own "earth wise" garden at home.

Conservation of water in landscape and garden design

Planting native species that support songbirds, hummingbirds, butterflies beneficial

   insects and other indigenous wildlife

Creating beautiful lawns and gardens without pesticides or chemical fertilizers

Offering personal gardening opportunities to the public

The Boundary Bay Earthwise Garden is located at the corner of Boundary Bay Road and 3rd Avenue in South Delta.   Visitors are always welcome.
